Mikkel Dalkiær has worked as a patent attorney since 1999. His main areas of expertise include biotechnology, chemistry, food and dairy science, food ingredients and functional foods.

Before joining Larsen & Birkeholm, Mikkel has worked in some of Denmark’s largest IPR consultancies: First as a partner and Team Manager at Plougmann Vingtoft, since at Zacco Denmark as a Senior Partner, Head of Patents as well as Team Manager for their Life science department.

Special strengths: Drafting, prosecuting, licensing, oppositions and appeals, business development based on IP, FTO analyses, patent evaluations, strategic patent issues, due diligence analyses, infringement and invalidation actions.
